¹² It is not up in the heavens, so that you have to say, “Which one of us will go up to the heavens and get it for us so we can listen to it and carry it out?” ¹³ It is not across the sea, so that you have to say, “Which one of us will cross over to the other side of the sea and get it for us so we can listen to it and carry it out?” ¹⁴ Instead, the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so you can obey it.
